so wicked. i attempted to learn how to play some blues stuff once, realy did not work out well. anyways this sounds awesome

Looks like you've got an understanding of the blues, you understand the 1/4/5 structure. Here's some tips for playing slide guitar that I learned at the Austin Guitar School: 1.) Remember to hold the slide exactly perpendicular to the neck=straight across, lines up parallel to the fret bars. 2.)You can cup the slide in between your thumb and index and middle fingers and use your ring and pinky fingers to gently ride behind with a soft mute to filter out the rough edges on the scratchy sounds.
