well done Franco Corelli a very great tenor of all times to me your legacy will always exist, the way u play around high and low notes, in this very belcanto demanding aria u took it your way well done maestro. Sbani Mwelase. kuhle kuyabongeka

@KissaMyEyes Actually, it is a C sharp, not a C natural, that is, a half step higher than C natural commonly called high C. Thus it has a greater brightness than the high C and in some naturally high voices is rendered with an extraordinary, unearthly beauty and heavenly purity that is simply transporting and divinely arresting. In my humble opinion, the C sharp is the most beautiful note in the human voice, although with strong competition from the high B natural and high E natural.

Yes, yuo are right !! The belcanto sings it nicely unbelievably. Imagine Del Monacot, Bergonzit in this role...

Perfection itself.

That a singer who sang such heavy repertoire as Rhadames,Manrico , Alvaro, Calaf, etc could take on this role that requires such agility and lightness is nothing short of remarkable. Corelli was truly outstanding and deserves his place as a superstar tenor. His reputation will only increase with time and all the detractors will fall away .Only the great voice and artistry of this man will remain. I had never heard anyone like him before and never wil again.

tremendous voice, but had a more emotional connection to Miguel Fleta's version

para Andriv 123 ,Corelli ..si alcanza el Do ..pero no el Do sostenido o Re bemol como lo require la partitura original...
I think this might be the greatest tenor C i've ever heard. Utterly wonderful.
