Firewalking is the art of walking on hot coals, rocks or cinders without burning the soles of your feet.
The Firewalk in Largs was held at Aubrey Park Largs as part of the Lars Viking Festival 2010. Here brave volunteers walked across 20 feet of wood embers burning at 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit without experiencing any pain or injury at all!
Firewalking is genuinely thrilling. Everybody finds their first Firewalk not only great fun but thoroughly exhilarating too. You will never forget it and you will be talking about it for a long time afterwards...
In addition to raising funds, the participants found the experience to be empowering, inspirational and horizon expanding to say the least! The effects of the motivational training session before the event will have long lasting benefits in your personal life, with increased awareness of how to achieve your goals, an enhanced view of your potential to succeed and a general ability to recognize when fear is preventing you from moving forward in your life
