Sea Turtle, Zakynthos

Greg, Marijana and Sanja snorkeling off Tsilivi beach on the island of Zakynthos, Greece. While looking for octopus in the rocks offshore, we were totally surprised to find a large sea turtle just in front of us. I had given up any hope of seeing a sea turtle at all on Zakynthos. I thought the turtles were just tourist trap bait or an image to sell beach towels. Yet miles from their traditional nesting sites and quite near the port of Zakynthos we happened to encounter a wild sea turtle and swim with it for some time. Sorry for the quality of this video I had left my card reader at home and had to improvise a solution. Just had to get a rush copy up fast. Shot with Olympus M water. sound track by Julian Tavalin.
