@crazispeedemon It wasn't about being prudish, or about him reading from the scripture, but the detail and amount of time he spent talking about sex when the topic of the sermon was TITHING.

The text (NIV) simply says Elkanah lay with Hannah. That's ALL the detail it gives regarding sex.

the tithing part was the intercourse the blessing was the child. honestly I rather hear this guys illustration's then somebody trying to "judge" on youtube. His scripture was valid, the editor just decided to put his/her own twist on his sermon. stop trolling and do some ministry huh?

I would challenge any genuine believer who has been listening to vulgar frauds like Perry Noble to do one simple thing: Type "Paul Washer" in the search box, look for a full sermon (not a 2 minute clip) and start listening. You'll benefit more from that single sermon than you will from a year of Perry Noble.

The only reason he's telling this story to begin with is because Perry for some reason thinks Hannah's womb was closed because she refused to give her first born to God. Is that biblical? Could you point me to that passage? It doesn't even really have to be a passage. One verse will suffice. Sure, he's got an open bible, but what he's preaching isn't in the text. If I'm wrong, show me. This is just a manipulative money sermon.
