Which method do you prefer? This is sort of a performer's or magician's magic trick that's meant to be used as a gag before moving on to the real magic. It's only worth what it's worth, but it always gets a surprising or groaning reaction from the audience.

The remove your thumb trick is a win / win.
Try it out for yourself and watch the reactions from your audience. It never fails to get big laugh, or at least a corny smirk of astonishment from those watching it.

**Important note** : To perform this trick, you'll need an extra thumb.
Always remember, practice makes perfect. Have fun entertaining and annoying people!
