Get this; Channel 4 was originally gonna be ITV2 and even was listed on that button on TV sets.

Great Memories, It's a real shame, we lost all the Regional stuff from ITV!
Now we are subjected to a generic ITV 1 Logo instead of feeling a bit unique with the old Granada logo.
Just old enough to remember the in vision continuity to!
Bullseye on a Sunday night ready for school on Monday!
And ITV without Jeremy Kyle! Let alone the billion repeats on ITV 2!
Bring back Granada Closedown.. Oh Wait more Jeremy Kyle, this time with arm waving! arghhh

Many memories from early 1995. Home And Away was one of my favourite programmes at the time and is it true that Melissa George had a British TV interview lately? I wonder what she is up to.
