  • How hard was it to take off the intake mainfold? I just recently bought a 1st gen 5 speed and I wanted to do a tune up (plugs, wires, ect) and intake are you using to replace the stock air box?

  • @ricxxxhxxie Its really not to bad but if its been awhile since the intake has been off your going to want to replace the gaskets. I would head over to the SHOforum.com and do some reading, you will find a lot of answers there.Just remember to search first.

  • where did you get the exhaust manifold for it i couldnt find any

  • @TransAmFTW The mainfolds are stock, custom pipes to plumb the turbo.

  • where did you find intake for your car

  • @yaboykevin1 Its the stock intake manifold painted to match the color of the car, ford paint code LA.

@mayjahmann not sure where your located but i have a hood, also have you checked ebay or the sho forum?

  • i found a 92 or a 95 sho not sure which it is for sale. $1200, im not sure what to look for in terms of what might be wrong with it. A co-worker of mine is selling it. He wanted $2500 at first i guess but he told me 12 because i've been friends with him for awhile and i really need a car right now. Can anyone tell me what i should have checked out on this car to make sure its not going to just die on me and even so is it worth the investment?

  • it is really kick ass. i have a 94 gl that i am dumping a 3.8 essex supercharged thunderbird motor in. it will be a rather fun car. good luck to you and your taurus.

  • Wow, man. That thing is crammed in there. I wonder about the heat build up with everyday driving--not to mention high rpm's when your runnin' hard. I always thought it was strange how the 2nd gen SHO's were 3.0 if it was a 5 spd. and 3.2 if they were automatics. I heard Yamaha wanted more torque for the automatics so they increased the displacment.

  • please tell me when you got the performance parts

  • I'm diggin the crazy vac line just protruding from the intake, haha

  • get a plate that says.....SHO NUFF.....or someone do that?
