  • Bless him. If this song doesn't steal your heart you don't got one to steal.

  • @airevault I agree wholeheartedly with what you are saying. Keith might appear rough and rowdy, but inside of him you'll find a tender, loveable person. Pure gold.

  • It's the Keith version. Dig it.

  • Saw the Stones perform this at the after-SARS concert at Downsview in Toronto. I thought it was a peculiar song, rather out of place in the concert, but oddly touching. I've always had greater respect for Richards after hearing him perform this. He's a very sentimental and deeply feeling artist.

  • The "hideous croaking" voice is exactly what makes the song nice. Nat King Cole couldn't make the song sound nicer.

  • simple and beautious...:O)

  • ...and Hoagy Carmichael calling Keith up six months before he croaked, telling Keith that he really dug Mr. Richards' interpretation of his song. Reminded Hoagy of how the song went through his head when I first played it.

  • Brings me to my knees. So damn good.

  • @oliaiguambfigues76 wow feel better now? Either you like Keith's vocals or you don't. In fact I am sure Keith is well aware that he is NOT ole blues eyes. And thank GOD he is not! One Frank is enough and one Keith is enough as well.

  • from the Basquiat soundtrack! thanks for posting this.

  • there are two versions of him singing this, this one is the hardest to find and the better one. if anyone has any information about the difference please let me know, recording dates etc....

  • @oliaiguambfigues76 I have some sympathy with this viewpoint, but people like keith and so in turn like his music. I think it's that simple. Your favourite actor can do little wrong, your favourite "rock star" likewise.

Long live Keith. Given more people more pleasure then most ever will.
