Under the Equator line, this part of the Brazilian coast does not know the winter nor the cold nor bad weather. It has some rainy months that bless beaches with magnificent coconut palms, lagoons and enormous sand dunes. During the remaining portion of the year, the sky shines in an enviable blue and its inhabitants smile with the satisfaction of who know to be owner of a small paradise.
The origin of this old fishing village was in 1650. Located in the city of Aracati. It changed into a tourist spot in the seventies, by a group of hippies that got passionate for the paradisiacal beauty and the hospitality of the natives who inhabited the village. This cinematographic scene is only 175 km to the east of Fortaleza, capital of the State of Ceará.
