RIKEA

RIKEA is part of a project involved in Torino Geodesign (promoted by architectural magazine ABITARE and Torino World Design Capital), an experiment in democratic design.
RIKEA has been conceived and realized by Marco Lampugnani and Antonio Scarponi together with Balon's community (Turin, Italy) and IKEA, as a self-made, foldable market cart.
It mixes-hybridizes former IKEA products (such as beds, shelves, bags etc) to obtain a brand new - more complex - object.
