Tracking some demo drums for Teramaze at my still incomplete but functional home studio.

As it is Metal and not Fusion I am trying to keep the drumming solid with a little bit of flair.

Perhaps the spirit of Mike Portnoy or Lars Ulrich was there that night.

  • Hey Julian, I've just gotta say firstly that I love your drumming. It's amazing stuff. I know you use an SQ2, but could you cough up the specs on it? Thanks man.

  • Dear Mr. Doom,

It is an all maple kit.

The very thinnest maple shells possible on all toms. Medium thickness maple shells on bass drum and snare.

    Thanks for the compliment!
