  • Once you mix your henna powder to use how long does the mixure last?

  • @jenn1882 2-3 days at room temperature, 1 week in the fridge, up to 6 month in the freezer.

  • i just bought henna powder at the indian market for a dollar 99... the color is fine but the date says best by december 2009. right now is december 2010. is that safe?

  • @ismich96bich Henna doesn't spoil like food, so it should be fine. Sometimes we luck out at the Indian market, but it's rare.

  • Thanks for all the good info. Whats the best mixture for hair? Lemon juice or orange juice. Also should I add oils like olive oil or cococnut oil? Please advise.

  • @christyluve72 The video that will answer your questions will be uploaded in a few days. For hair, I recommend apple cider vinegar. You could use orange juice, but I think it would leave your hair sticky. Some people use oils, but I do not recommended it because it hinders the henna from staining your hair.

  • and I did look on your site but couldn't find the info. probably because my middle son broke my glasses so I'm virtually blind lol.

  • @FreeHandMehndi do you ship to the UK? and if yes, will I have to pay extra shipping when it gets here? I buy from a Henna supplier who has a shop on ebay, NOT something I would recommend 's a rule but I've had unopened summer 2010 Jamila with no probs so far. just want to offer my support really, ar you've taught me everything I know pretty much! x

  • I always use jamila Henna. atm I'm using summer 2010. I have one box of this crop year left. I'm wondering what the latest batch is, do we have one for this year? Xxx

  • @FreeHandMehndi thank you! so you think that it will be ok even if i got it at a random indian store? i hope so! xD
