  • @16SeXii Is she a young jill??? If she is then she will learn not to nip or bit if you say no really loud to her as soon as she does it and then ignore her.. Over time she will learn not to bite but if shes an older ferret it will be more difficult as you need to get then as kits an handle then a lot for them not to bite .. I dont it with all my ferrets and then wouldnt bite me ever ...

  • Aaaaw that's really cute!

But it looks like you are feeding raisins to her (ignore me if you aren't) and sugar is not good for ferrets, it tends to cause little tumors on the pancreas which eventually makes them go into seizures. Best to give your ferret meat based treats instead.

  • hahaha why the hell does he squeeze himself in there?

  • i got my ferret two days ago, and she is really cute, but the guy warned me that she bit before i even got her, and yesterday she bit my boyfriends leg three times, i don't know how to train her to stop, i heard you can buy this bitter apple spray, but i don't wanna be mean, i also heard you can just ignore them when they bite, have any ideas? please message me if so. thanks. btw so cute! :)

  • does yours stash it behind the fridge?? ours does! and steals cutlery and puts them behind them there too! its funny!

  • Aww =3

  • actually, when ferrets are having their "retarded day", they are STILL smarter than cats. I have a ferret book for beginners and it teaches me what I need to know until I get my own ferret.

  • yeah, my ferrets got out of the normal cage at petco, so they had to be put into their own cage.

  • Thank you very much! :D

  • Ferrets are very smart. If you can find the right thing to motivate them they can figure almost anything out. They are great problem solvers, which can be a good and a bad thing. They tend to figure out all the puzzles you don't want them too haha like how to tip over the trash can and get past all your careful ferret proofing. thier intelegence makes them very trainable if you can be patcient, they can get bored with training fast so it takes a while sometimes. They are very on the go animals
