Ha, I've been trying to figure it out myself. They came with the bass when I bought it. I liked the sound so I didn't change them. Sorry.

@codylmnop Instead of using your pinky to bar down D7-G7, use your middle finger D7 and your ring finger G7. I think Newsted does it that way, actually. Hope that helped!
