  • Does anyone know if there is enough life boats unlike the Titanic????

  • I believe the ship has 18 lifeboats that hold 360 guests an then countless, countless inflatable lifeboats that easily hold 25 or more. There are plenty of lifeboats in case of an emergency.

  • anyone knows if this guy is at a hotel?? I need to know what about a hotel that is facing terminal 18!

  • This was taken on the top deck (6th floor) of the midport parking garage.

  • When the Grand Princess first came out for example, it was a disaster, and until this day nobody wants to work in that ship.

Thanks for your response, if you ever want to get an expert advise on Princess Cruises in particular , give me a shout i will be happy to help.

  • Thanks for the offer, Joe. I may just take you up on that one of these days.

  • Like Nokia, Oasis of the Seas is made in Finland.

Tell what you want, We'll made it

  • Made in Finland!!!! :P

  • Toilets still need to be cleaned, towels washed and potatos peeled. Just piling up 15 000 pieces of luggage within the crew area the day before turn around day is giving the chills to the chief housekeeper officer, take my word, he is my brother in law.

When a company brings up a new class like the Oasis of the Seas, there is a good chance their planing might not result in what they originally thought about it.

  • Hi !

Technology does impact various aspects of the ship like engineering, surveillance among others, but 17 years in the accommodation department for 3 different companies ( Princess, Carnival & Cunard) showed me that "things" with bigger ships never got easier as the increased in size.
