C.I.Agent is a polymer that solidifies oil and fuel for spill control. The solidified oil is NON-TOXIC and can be reused in various industrial applications like in asphalt or plastics.

It is currently being used to protect Dauphin Island, Alabama from the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.

  • Couldn't we pump this stuff into the well at a high pressure before adding the mud/concrete... I'm thinking it could act as a sort of coagulant, to slow the flow of the oil down and make it easier to cap it... Kind of like a blood clot?
