As a scientist and atheist, the Dalai Llama is the only spiritual leader I have a profound respect for. And I see in many cases he has a profound respect for science.

I think alot of people of different faiths and no faith respect the Dalai Lama..he does have a profound respect for science..he has a profound respect for everything :)

Personally,I think if ANY spiritual leader can gain respect from an Atheist, then he's doing really well..as for myself,I respect anyone's beliefs or non beliefs..even if I don't agree with them..I only hope that they will offer me the same respect for my beliefs in kind :)

    Good day to you,sir :)

Thanks to the American policy of taking in all those so called ''Democracy fighters'' over the years. They, including Dalai, are eating in on those who are working for the American dreams to build their own dream. Some of their dreams would eventually contribute nothing to democracy. Dreams, like those of that lama and some from Africa, Middle east and all over the world.
