Refurbish, Re-Stickify, Re-Use, Old Cricut Mats to make them like BRAND NEW! I used to use the Zig two-way glue pens which was good - now i use this spray and it's AMAZINGLY FANTASTIC! Visit http://www.AboveRubiesStudio.com for more!

  • @Gerangideon i used another brand i believe and i remember the lady online saying that you have to put a bit of lint or something otherwise it'll be way to strong but I've done just that and it works fine :) also in that video she had mentioned to cover the areas for the rollers just incase you're not using a 12 by 12 paper because the stickyness would get on the rollers but its worked for me :)

  • From my experience it DID NOT Work, I ordered mine through custom crops after watching these videos. The removal spray worked great making it clean and smooth but when I applied the re stick spray, I cut out some items on my cricut. When I went to remove my cut outs the glue peeled up with it and left glueless areas on my mat. I just wished when people do their free product reviews they were honest and saved me wasting my money.

  • Thanks Megan, but how long does the mat need to dry after spraying before you can use it?

  • vswaddy620@yahoo.com Thanks Megan, video was very helpful for me. TFS

  • okay listen...this is probably weird...but

What color/brand finger nail polish do you have on for this video?

I LOVE it! And you have very pretty nails/hands...and good Cricut ideas too ;)

  • or you can just run it under warm water and let it dry

  • That looked very time consuming and it didn't appear the gunk was coming up very easily to me. How long did it take to scrape the mat? I'm not too sure I'd want to be spraying aerosol products indoors, it's very unhealthy to be breathing and talking while spraying something like that...also it drifts and gets on other stuff so be very careful. :)

  • After having tried several "sticky"methods myself I have come to the reallization that the whole mat does not need to be sticky to make this work on the cricut. I have been very successful with just using the blue painters tape that you illustrated to hold down the corners and sides of the paper. I have been successful with this with different types papers. I learned this from working in a sign shop for several years. Give it a try I think you all will be happy with the result!

  • @shelleylovestoscrap whereabouts are you (don't say here..send me a msg to my inbox here on youtube) There may be a couple exceptions to their mailing rules. Like maybe they don't mail to quebec or something like that..know what i mean?
