  • Wrong. Catholiscism is not christianity. Biblical defintion of christianity is followers of Christ. On the other hand catholicism is a pagan religion where the center is not christ, but a person in royal dresses who claims to be infallible, a queen of heaven, a group of saints who are willing to do miracles to anyone who ask for it, and if there is any room left, Jesus.

  • The Catholic Church is Christ's Church built upon Peter, the first Pope, it is in the Bible. In fact the Catholic Church put the Bible together. Martin Luther took 7 books out under his own authority. He also wanted to rip out the Letter of James the apostle.

All the Apostles and the early church Fathers are part of the "group of Saints" and yes they did perform miracles and healings through Jesus not on their own, many came to them, it is true, it is in the Bible.

    Not with Faith alone!

  • Have you ever wondered why is it that the word pope is not in the bible...Answer: Its origen is pagan, that's how the roman emperors were called (pontifex maximus) The Catholic church did not put together the bible. A group of greek philosophers in alexandria perverted the word of God that was already put together in Antiochia by the christians, this group of books was called the latin vulgate, later known as textus receptus. You should do a little research, it's not like you've been told.

  • "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast" Ephesians 2:8 Please explain this passage to me. Thanks

  • Amen to that haojiesheng! Catholicism does not only center upon Christ alone but God in three divine persons. For any Christians who attacks the Catholic Faith so much, watch the youtube of Scott Hahn, a former die hard anti-Catholic who finally was softened by his own researches about what the Catholic Faith is all about and embraced it in the end with his entire family.

  • @sxcxk777 and yet God created traditions by for example, instituting the Lord's Supper, which, whether you like it or not, IS a TRADITION

  • @grone97 It means we receive the divine "grace" of God through "faith" because without faith it is impossible to please God. God gives us grace which is forgiveness of eternal punishment, we can not give the grace to ourselves, it is the gift of God because grace comes FROM God, when we do good works the good works do not give us the grace GOD gives us the grace out of his own good mercy. James 2 "24Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only."

  • let me sum religion up i am christian but lets get to the point. anything that is based on dare i say the word TRADITION is not of god and is not biblical god talks about how he hates tradition in the bible and also uses the word "hypocrite."

  • @SusanMCM athanasius was catholic, as the word just means universal, but he was not roman catholic, as you understand it. during the arian ascendency, yes, he was rather protestant, because he went against the church's teaching. he was anathamatized by councils that had more bishops at them then nicea. He went against those who supposedly held the keys given to peter, and he did it on the basis of scripture. you havent refuted one thing i said, so i get why youre frustrated. truth hurts.

  • @SusanMCM i mean he's debated them on purgatory, sola scriptura, marialogy, and more, and now catholic answers is actually running from debating him. you cant prove he's wrong, just like you cant prove im wrong. the bodily assumption is gnostic fiction. it is not of apostolic or Christian origin, and you cannot refute this, and it drives you crazy. anybody can see i havent been rude or insencere. ive asked you questions that rome cant answer for you, and you dont know what to do.

  • @SusanMCM james white doesnt debate catholics? he's debated catholics tons of times! matatics, sungenis, pacwa, stravinskas, and more. in fact, catholic answers refuses to debate him because they lose every time. you like to call him a liar and anti-catholic, but you cant show how he's wrong. just because he points out catholic inconsistancies doesnt make him a liar, susan. extreme hate & bigotry? id love to see an example of that.

  • @SusanMCM - Nothing ticks me off more than dishonest people who waste my time.

  • @soccer21928 - James White refuses to debate many Catholics. He won't allow comments videos. Why? Because he'd lose the debate. Historical evidence proves it. Do yourself a favour and read the Early Church Fathers and lose the misinformation and lies taught by James White. It's up to you. Meanwhile I'm putting you on ignore. I don't like bigots or dishonest people who don't even look at the other sides point or even have the courtesy to listen to a short (few minute) video.

  • @soccer21928 - St. Athanasius was a Catholic not a Proto-Protestant. You're dishonest and using anti Catholic garbage from bigot and liar James White.

  • @soccer21928 - The video "How did the OT canon develop' does not discuss the New Testament. Obviously YOU DID NOT listen to it proving dishonesty on your part. Further, you refer to droakley whom I assume is of Alpha Omega a well know anti Catholic site infamous for it's extreme hate & bigotry. I find most Protestants to be kind and sincere with the exception of those who follow James White. You have proven yourself dishonest and rude. I have no intention of continuing a conversation with you.
