Blur Multiplayer Beta - Tokyo Shutoko Skirmish Race HD

Footage of a Skirmish Race on the Tokyo Shutoko track in the multiplayer beta of Blur, an upcoming arcade racer developed by Bizarre Creations and published by Activision. It'll be released on May 25th in the US, and May 28th in Europe. Thanks to Pengxiang for giving me a beta key.

The game features different power ups you can use to either attack other players, or protect yourself. It reminded me of Mario Kart but then better looking and without Koopa Troopa's.

Before you all start pointing at my driving style, don't bother, I don't play racing games a lot, so naturally I'm not racing a flawless race. This video is solely created for others to see what the game is about.

The beta for Blur began on March 8th, and beta codes were given out from websites such as GameSpot and GameSpy. The beta allows you to test out six tracks, four game modes, fourteen fully licensed vehicles, and over thirty challenges. Players can test out Blur's Leveling Up system, which unlocks various items until Level 10 is reached. The beta also allows players to connect to Twitter to post updates via the game directly to their updates.
