  • Do you guys have to adapt any of the diolaug to accomadate the lack of imiges?

    (Nice job btw)

  • @Joshtika18 Yup, in some cases I do. The script overall is not a direct transcription of the manga, but an adaptation, so I try to piece out what comes across in audio-only and what doesn't. I do want to make clear that the pilot episode has more internal monologue than ANY of the others, just because there's a lot to set up and it helps establish Tohru's character. It's not common in the future, promise. ^U^

  • I love it! Good work JO, this was a lot of fun to listen to, and it cheered me up quite a bit! Although might I suggest putting in some effects like an echo whenever the characters are thinking? I had a little trouble understanding when the main was thinking/ when she was talking aloud. But otherwise, awesome work!

  • PSYCHIC WAAAVES XD

  • So was the music here composed especially for this drama, or was it from some kind of stock music library? I'm pretty impressed that you bothered to opt for original stuff. In my laziness I probably would have just "borrowed" music from anime and movie soundtracks. But I suppose that was as much about copyright as anything else?

  • Mind = blown

  • Fruits Basket was... no, still is, a big deal to me because it helped open my eyes to what was in front of me at the time back in 2004. (Long story short, got my girlfriend out of it.) So this very well done stroll down memory lane (if that's accurate to say, given much of this series is still vivid to me, thanks to how slow the manga was released in the US) is simply a pleasure to hear. Thank you for the surely strenuous amount of work you must have put into just these first few episodes.

  • the main girl doesn't sounds as cute as the original, but still she's fabulous!

as well as everybody, just a suggestion why don't you add a bit of echo/delay effect on the character's voices when they are thinking? it just would make things a bit easier to tell apart. but whatever great job guys!

  • Wow, this is really welldone. Can't believe I didn't watch this sooner lol. You guys all did an Awesome job. I'll be checking out the others at some point. But well this is great. Catch ya later mate. Take it easy.

  • Hey, I've got to ask (this is really great btw. I've never seen nor read Fruits Basket, and I love the story thus far. Makes me wanna try out the manga and anime), but do these actors and actresses have youtube channels or sites where I can view more of their work? I'd love to see what else they do cause I'm a geek for good acting. ^^; Anyway, again this is a very wonderful adaptation. You guys are so talented!!!!

  • After being used to Eric Vale's portrayal of Yuki, this one really surprised me. This one reminded me of Fakir from Princess Tutu.

  • This is absolutely beautiful. Being a writer and a musician, the mental picture created by this is as perfect as the anime. You guys should've been the VA's for the anime series, Bravo
