  • man, u r a real thorough guy when it comes to stuff like this, this is way beyond me and what i can make, ninjitsu is about recourcefulness and u have really show that man, u must be an intelligent guy, the only thing i ever used my head 4 was a battering ram during streetfights, it works quite well but u r a smart guy 4 sure, what band is that playing in the backround??

  • YOU"RE KICKIN' ASS DOG!!!!

I have to agree with muddyman, go bend yourself some sheet in a curved form. air(like any uncaptured gas.)wants a smooth surface to flow over.you'll get more torque from the existing flow.

YOU KEEP UP WITH THIS MAN! folks like us can put the Arabs out of business!

  • this is called a savonius type turbine. do what muddymann said below and it will work great (or as great as this style blade can perform.)

lift type vawts give the best performance for electrical generation. but savonius is great for applications where torq is needed, such for water pumping, mixing something, perhaps. or running an alternator if belted/geared to spin it at higher speed.

  • 960 xiews and no comments? i thought that was impossible. WELL I LIKE THE DESIGN AND I WANT TO ADD MY 2 CENTS WORTH. TRY CURVING INSTEAD OF BENDING THE METAL TO ALLOW BETTER AIR FLOW FROM SIDE TO SIDE, I BELIEVE YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED IN THE RESULTS. WHAT AIR HITS THE FIRST FOIL IS CREATING SWIRLS THAT WAIST POWER. HOLD THE BLADES IN VARIOUS POSITIONS WHILE BLOWING SMOKE ACROSS IT AND LOOKING DOWN ON TOP. AND CHECK OUT AXIAL FLUX ALTERNATOR DESIGN FOR LOW SPEED EFFICIENCY. THE MUDDMANN
