@lispectorando In music, "temper" indicates a tuning system. In equal temperament, the pitch interval between any 2 notes is exactly the same. Then there are the "well temperaments where this is not the case. In well temperaments, each key had its own characteristics (cheerful, sad, angry, etc). JSB's Well Tempered Clavier exploits these characteristics by having major and minor compositions in every key. PDQ covers this in a only a few pages. Plus, it's a really bad pun...

@gwaur ah okay. i knew it was a parody, i just didn't understand how short temper applied. =D i guess being short-tempered gives you no patience for the hard keys?

@lispectorando "The Short-tempered Clavier" is a parody of J. S. Bach's "The Well-Tempered Clavier", and it has, as is written on the front page of the sheet music, preludes and fugues in all keys except the really hard ones.
