I asked my dad to fill out a check for lunch money at my school. I then washed it, except for the signature. I filled it in in the appropriate way, writing $600,000 dollars on the check. I put it on his bed, along with a note saying, "Your 14 year old son did it, a 40 year old proffessional criminal can do it too."

lol, things to do: 1) develop a safety measure against acetone, that could be easily done by looking into several chemical factors of acetone. 2) other companies will develop similar pen tech or other pen technology that protects check-writers, 3) educating the public is one way to prepare them. For those saying that you just learned how to do this....it has been on the internet for years. not on youtube, but on blogs, webpages, forums, etc...

This is a misleading effort to sell you a product that you do not need. The easiest way to avoid to problem is not putting mailed checks in a unsecured mail box. Away mail checks from a locked mail box. Their are available in many places. My small community has several so your will also.
