We also hope to enlist the help of traditional media (TV, radio) as well to share "We Are Hampton Roads," especially in and around news breaks, and to spread the positive things about our region.

SO what is this all about?

The Hampton Roads Partnership understands that we all need a little "feel good" sometimes. And, what better way to share good feelings than to employ the ingenuity and creativity of our Hampton Roads regional neighbors to proclaim "We Are Hampton Roads."

The call went out via email and social networks like Facebook and LinkedIn. Some people sent their own videos, and, for others, the Hampton Roads Film Office collected vignettes of people, individually and in groups, saying or shouting "We Are Hampton Roads."

Thanks to our region's high profile in the Nov08 presidential election, we've captured some great national coverage of the use of "Hampton Roads" and "America's First Region."

With such a huge and VERY positive response, we plan to keep the momentum going. We're asking for 1-minute (or less) submissions as an ON-GOING CAMPAIGN via our YouTube Channel and other social media. So, send us your own video!
