As a home inspector, Jay Marlette has to haul large, bulky objects like ladders to his job sites. Wanting to green his business, Jay and his partners found Xtracycle able to handle all their local home inspections by comfortably carrying their 24' ladder, telescoping ladder and crawlspace body board.
Now Jay is able to use his service vans less, interact with his community more and gets exercise going to and from his job site.
You can find Jay at http://houseman.org if you're in the Bay Area and need a home inspection. Thanks, Jay!
@Oilbeefooked It actually works pretty well. You just need to be aware of your load and cargo. We watched Jay pull off 360° turns in a parade numerous times. Scared the rest of us, but Jay had it down pat. :D

looks a bit dangerous having a long ladder that can catch on things like cars.... but i like the whole idea and thanks. could a trailer be better for a ladder? or maybe a new design of a ladder that folds up, sorta like a carpenter's folding rule.
