SNES Darius Twin

Darius! Now this is Taito's premier shooting franchise. It made its way from Arcade to several home consoles. This was the first Darius I played, Darius Twin on the SNES. True, it is not the best of the series, but it still manage to make me play it to death when I got it. Extremly (dare I say insanely) hardm you really had to play with 2 players to stand a chance. It was a really nice feature to be able to choose different paths at the end of each level, made the game less linear. And wich other games lets you shoot space fish from start to end? Hurray for Taito!

What was the other shmup Taito came out with? It's sorta like this but you could choose between a green, red, and blue ship and you could choose to go to different areas labelled as letters. They had their own weapons and upgrades n such.

@KissMeImPunk You're thinkin about Darius II for Sega Genesis if I'm not mistaken. You started out on the Sun, and the rest of the area were different planets and you chose which area of the planet to go to by picking a letter
