  • @TheKsantosh1270 You can group Brook's in with these theosophists Christians. Also Kenneth Copeland, Todd Bentley, Creflo, Oprah,Joyce Meyers. Watch the Oprah movie "The Secret" which speak of this law of attraction yet not revealing it's occultic origin.

  • @MayonR This was the ministry of Jesus Christ, every blessing that comes our way glorifies His name. When we are in Health, in Wealth(both spiritual and natural), in Wisdom all through the name of Jesus Christ. Does it not glorify Him? We humans are frail and need to be ministered to first, and then when we are mature we will be able to serve Him in a worthy manner. Stop stoning our brother here, he certainly has no intentions to serve the devil or lead people astray. :) God Bless You. :)

  • @TheKsantosh1270 Matt 17:20 is referring to faith in the power of God. If there had been power in words alone then the disciples would not have inquired as to their failure. And certainly we can plant seeds of the Word who is Christ but words alone have no power to bring things into fruition. Show me in the Bible where words draw things in like a magnet such as described by the law of attraction or what Olsteen teaches.

  • @MayonR In Steven Brook's book"Working with Angels", he describes that he saw that man's emanates what he thinks in the spirit realm, if he thinks godly thoughts, angels are attracted to him,or else it repels the angels and draws in demons. I'll look through the scriptural citation and let you know. And ok, and the man centered theology, does God delight to see us prosper and be in health as our soul prospers? yes or no? Man is frail and is broken and he needs to be ministered in all areas.

  • @MayonR Brother, Our words do have power, Then why Did Jesus Christ, say this?

Mat 17:20 So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

And "Words are seeds", we are kings in Jesus Christ, so we can also decree in His Name as He commands us, And the "like a magnet, we draw in what we are constantly thinking about"

  • @tontobones which Jesus Christ are you talking about? there were 40+ bastards who tried to imitate Him. And Mary was God's child? xD

  • @tontobones Dude seriously?

  • Olsteen is not a preacher of God, he is a peracher of a mystic religion

  • Jesus christ was a bastard, his mother wasn't married to god,his father, because surely mary was gods child. That would be incest, surely.

  • @TheKsantosh1270 [[there is no occultic "law of attraction" taught by him]] Olsteen-Word of Faith "The Power of Words, Your words affect your future." Man centered, not God centered theology. "Words are like seeds. When you speak them out and continue to believe in them and listen to them, they can come to a reality." "Like a magnet, we draw in what we are constantly thinking about." Your Best Life Now,Faith Words, New York, 2006

  • @MayonR I feel religion teaches hypocritical austerity and about poverty, whereas God blesses enough that we reach out to others who need help, of course we are not after money but after God, His Heart.

    and this one?

Pro 11:25 The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself.

If he Joel Osteen, is false let God remove him from his ministry, but if he is serving God, don't become insolent like the tribe of Korah who were against Moses.

  • @MayonR And this one?

Pro 10:22 The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.

  • @TheKsantosh1270

    Gal 3:13-14

13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree." 14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

    NIV

  • Ok how about this?

    Gal 3:10-13

ll who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law." 11 Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because, "The righteous will live by faith." 12 The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, "The man who does these things will live by them."

    NIV

  • @TheKsantosh1270 This is perfectly in line with calling out false doctrines. By the measure I judge it will be returned to me. This should be expected unless someone is to do hypocritical judgment. This is not admonishing righteous judgment. If I were to attack Olsteens personal character this might be out of line but it is his doctrines that are up to scrutiny. Look into the Biblicality of prosperity theology the occultness of the law of attraction and relativism.

  • @TheKsantosh1270 the parallel verse to this scripture is this,

Jhn 3:8 "The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit."

  • @MayonR Amen to 2 Tim 3:16, it is true. God has made everything beautiful in its time, there is no occultic "law of attraction" taught by him, if so show me the clip to prove it. Here another thing in the Bible, People thronged to see Jesus Christ, as He walked the earth, Its called divine favour. Esther found favour in the eyes of the king. I don't think these people have any intention to serve the devil, I'm sure they want to serve God. They are prone to do error in some cases.

  • @MayonR

What I'm conveying in according to this scripture

    Matt 7:1-2

1 DO NOT judge and criticize and condemn others, so that you may not be judged and criticized and condemned yourselves.

2 For just as you judge and criticize and condemn others, you will be judged and criticized and condemned, and in accordance with the measure you [use to] deal out to others, it will be dealt out again to you.

  • @MayonR Here is the amplified bible's version of your scripture,

15 But the spiritual man tries all things [he examines, investigates, inquires into, questions, and discerns all things], yet is himself to be put on trial and judged by no one [he can read the meaning of everything, but no one can properly discern or appraise or get an insight into him].

  • @MayonR Hey, first of all let me make this clear. I serve the Lord Jesus Christ who died for me on the cross in the flesh and who rose again from the dead, I will NOT bow down my knee to any other so called gods and demons even at gun point, may the Lord give me strength to face this if it happens in my life. Ok? so I'm not advocating false doctrines nor stale bread, I definitely won't help the devil, I murderously hate that piece of crap that calls itself "greater than God". So lets begin,

  • Pastor David Wilkerson.. Dios lo tenga en la gloria, usted predicaba la verdad y no la mentira que se ve hoy en día... la iglesia se ha convertido en un circo y en lugar en donde solo se pide dinero.. que tristeza...

  • @Bedeborah

Why do you count that as harsh? Maybe it's only those who are concerned with worldly wealth and comfort consider this harsh.

Don't you know that Jesus said God hates that which is highly valued by men (Luke 16:15).

All I'm asking is that you open your mind enough to question your beliefs. That's how we grow. Those who do not ask cannot grow. If you are so certain that you are right, then you cannot grow. All you can do is continue to scorn everyone who disagrees with you.

  • @Bedeborah

I wanted to open a discussion with you. But in order to discuss, both people need to enter with the attitude that they may be wrong.

Are you so closed-minded that you know instantly that everyone who disagrees with you is automatically wrong?

  • No wonder the 'atheist' don't come to JESUS.

  • @MayonR Blah, blah, blah
