The upper arm support on men's parallel bars is unique to gymnastics. Here Scott Burns from California Sport Center shows a drill to develop this unique strength.

  • Why finish hollow, though? Wouldn't it make more sense to allow the gymnast to finish in an arch, simulating the continued heel drive needed for a back uprise to handstand?
