I actually liked this movie and the other one, but the series and pet force are just bad. Garfield is better in 2d.

Theres a new Nintendo DS game out tomorrow, based on this film

I spoke to Garfield earlier about his new game and he said....

Hmmm, decisions, decisions, do I spend £19.99 on an extra large Lasagna or do I buy my new game for the DS, Garfield Gets Real.I had lasagna for breakfast and lunch, Garfield Gets Real for the Nintendo DS it is! :-)

My viewpoint exactly. I think Garfield looks plastic in this new outuing too... the animators captured his basic appearance, but not his personality and mimics. The designs and animation in the new CGI TV series feel closer to the comic strip Garfield, so I'm hoping for "The Garfield Show" to be good... but when all comes to all, it doesn't stand much of a chance against the great 2D Garfield cartoons. 2D simply captures Garfield best.

No wait thats not what I meant. I Did not think Garfield should become a 3-d computer animation. I love the 80s cartoon. That was perfect accept for when they replaced Arline with penelopy.
