"Tamushi" is ringworm. "Koroshi" is killer. Athlete's foot is "Mizumushi" in Japan. Yuki fired salicylate spirit at Saito's face. For Athlete's foot , salicylate petroleum is the proper use. Uchuu Senkan Yamato's Space Cavaliers had very similar helmets and clothing. They also had a dropship/tank hybrid that appears in later episodes. James Cameron is a self-confessed anime fan that used many early sci-fi anime as inspiration. He is going to make a live action Battle Angel Alita film after Avatar...
