@einavush There are no "mistakes", most people in our community wash twice on each hand, and many have the custom to sit for kiddush. and you do not necessarily need to drink the kiddush wine, you just need to hear kiddush. You need to get out more and learn about other peoples minhagim. If someone has a different minhag, of course they are still Jewish. (How old are you?)

yes, we're all jewish. The custom when saying kiddush is that you follow whatever the custom is of the home. That's why the grandma says remember what our custom is.
