Darren Perry - Ableton Game Pad Control - Grain Delay

Using a playstation game pad to control Pitch, Frequency, Feedback and DryWet in Grain Delay effect in Ableton Live 5. Controller is passed through the [hi] object in MAX/MSP and scaled and fed through MIDI to Ableton, this can bea ssigned to many variables in Ableton. I'm currently using the eight buttons (left, right, up, down, x, sq, tr, ci) as an eight note scale, using start and select to scroll through keys or select drum mapping to play drum sounds via Ableton or Reason.

yeh this is on a mac, just ableton, max/msp and a usb-playstation 2 adapter, can also use a usb game pad, make sure the gamepad/adapter has drivers for mac

Great news I wasn't sure if that max/msp software ran on OSX, and anyway I just found out that PS3 controllers works natively with Snow Leopard via bluetooth! This will be a ton of fun.
