2008 MOLDOVA Eurovision
(~ STUDIO VERSION - NEW VIDEO CLIP ~)

Probably the most under rated entry for this year's Eurovision Song Contest in May is the sophisticated 'A CENTURY OF LOVE' from Moldova's GETA BURLACU. Laid back samba rhythm, classy trumpet playing and an exquisite vocal from Geta ... indeed it's a breath of fresh air but probably won't be appreciated enough by a TV Eurovision audience, and certainly not from the majority of musically tasteless fans of Eurovision leaving ignorant or rude comments on various websites just because they don't understand this kind of music. The video submitted by Moldovian TV to the EBU for promotion to be used as the official preview video was just a basic clip of the winning national contest performance, and at least for now I'm not sure if an official video will materialize later or not. With this 'LIVE' TV version lasting over three minutes, the official Eurovision website have cruelly chopped the last ten seconds of the song from the 'official preview clip' they received. Therefore in the hope to do some justice I decided to add a good quality audio recording of the new, more uptempo studio version (which now lasts under 3 minutes) of 'A CENTURY OF LOVE' and have re-jigged the visuals from the national contest performance to fit the tempo to create a brand new video. Hope you like it !
