Just another video of the Sierra Nevada ..., sorry shouldn't drink gin and make movies ... there were several repeated frames. What can I say it's February ... and nothing to do, exept drink gin and plan my next hike :-).

haha, usually it is mating season when I go, but no Brown bears, only black ones, whom are as dangerous, but for different situations. I have seen a few, but they run, and usually hear you from a mile away. I have some scary stories I could tell about eating lunch at a creek to find a cub playing like 5ft away. I snuck off, think mom was asleep, otherwise I would be a dead man, because I usually hike alone. Mostly though you just don't want to be mistaken for a girl bear, mating season and all.
