Lady Saw
the first lady of dancehall
She was born Marion Hall in 1972 in a village in the parish of St Mary. At only 15, she took the name Lady Saw after famous Jamaican Deejay Tenor Saw, whose style she is said to emulate. She was soon signed to the Jamaican grassroots label VP Records, now a powerhouse, and debuted in 1994 with Lover Girl. At that time, she guested on the Shabba Ranks track, "Want It Tonight," and her star began to rise.

  • @JESODIST lil kim is jus a slut jus lik all black and white americans grls

  • The Only Track I Liked From Missy Was The One She Did With Luda Chris, Where She Had A Marvelous Performance, The Dances Were Insane At That Time. The Kids In The Dance Video Had Very Large Shirts And I Think Thats Where Soulja Boy Got The Idea About Wearing T Shirts That Are 3 Times His Body Size. Anyways She Dont Get The Respect She Needs Unlike Everyone Else You Already Mentioned Or Have In Mind. The Only Song I Like From Lil Kim Was Murderer And Magic Stick.

  • fook chyeaaah!

  • @JESODIST believe it or not, lady saw and lady patra influenced a lot of female rappers. especially the ones from the east coast. Eve was CRAZY about her and Missy Elliot.
