* Since the early 1970's most Chinese films would be released with two audio tracks to suit the appropriate distribution market, a Cantonese Dub for Hong Kong, Malaysia and the Overseas Communities in the West (London, San Francisco, etc.) and a Mandarin Dub for Taiwan, Singapore and (since the early 90's) Mainland China. With the advent of Stereo sound VCD Distributors found it cheaper to release Multi-Audio VCDs (Cantonese Playing out of one channel, Mandarin out of the other) to satisfy both markets.

Rather than upload in Stereo (which would have characters speaking Cantonese and Mandarin at the same time!) I thought it would be better to just upload in Mono, for the benefit of the viewer.
