iOS 5 is looking awesome; but this feature has got me scratching my head a bit. I mean... why? why put this in if the flash on the back lights up? would be much more practical and less conspicuous to those around if there was a small LED on the front.

maybe the next iPhone will have a front LED for notifications?

@tomasdelucca2711 The only difference is the phone call alert remains flashing throughout the whole ringtone until you pick up or decline the call..

This is stupid you have to turn your phone over for that. Not hating, but Android phones rule for the notification LEDs. The iPhone 5 will most likely have the LED light though.
