Another "horseman" slain. Of course this is no surprise. Time and time again atheists just can't beat capable Christian apologist such as William Lane Craig and Greg Bahnsen. I would add Mr. D'souza to this list. I wish Dawkins would through his hat in the debate arena.

Dinesh won the debate. He just has the misfortune of being incorrect.

when 87% of the crowd is probably christian, that shouldn't be surprising.

There is a world of difference between scientific truth and truths based on moral philosophy...The latter is subjective, science has to be cross checked many times before considered fact. Dinesh poses questions that science cannot answer yet, but that doesn't give his case any weight...That's simply pointing to the holes science is well aware of.

Explain why 87% of the audience voted that Dinesh won? Why did he sell more books?

Why do people still believe in Bronze Age mythology? It's easier and more comfortable....Dinesh's whole case is one big flaw as there isn't a shred of evidence to back it up. It's just an assumption based on not knowing. Science is indifferent. It doesn't set out to give easy answers to tough questions. Religion fills the gaps with easy to digest logic. I think Dinesh is one of the top people to argue religion's case, but one constant is an answer for everything is an answer for nothing.

The reason is that 80 per cent of the world is religious, and as such atheists can never win a debate in which the audience is full of religious people.

This is also the reason that dinesh has sold more books
