Image: 'Infant Joy' from Blake's Songs of Innocence, in which the engravings were hand-painted by the poet and his wife in their south London workshop. Music: My 'Romantic Waltz No.5', composed in Mallorca 2005. Sibelius/MIDI version - it would be nice one day to hear it played by a real orchestra. The celeste melody at 0.49 is a tune I wrote to the Blake poem, for tenor Charles Daniels to sing to his baby daughter. Indestructible memories: the birth of my own children in 1982 and 1985.
