@ queenof....the muscle responsible for develope is your iliospoas. I also have horrible develope en avant and can't tell you how to fix it, but check out dance and dance anatomy books that include exercises for it. pilates helps too.

My develope's are like that.At my studio, I was always afraid that people would think I was showing off, but then I realized, I worked too damn hard to be worrying about other people.

this is amazing! i get that you have to practice and build strength to get that developpe, but how do you start practicing? I couldn't afford lessons and i've been working on my developpe for over a year know, and i desperately need some help. Does anyone know what muscles you use or any exercises to practice with?

The tutu is very interesting
it's a matter of building strength, holding your hip in the correct position and turning out.
