  • ive got mad love for the 909 and all the roland boxes from that era. my 909 is model number 448630 so its an older model, im assuming late 80s. once i used to always watch videos with 909s, 808s, 707s and the like and wish i had one. now i have a 909, 707, 727, SH-101 and an Alpha Juno 2 and could not be happier!

  • 909 Is so beutiful , Love this video .

  • I didn't know about the PSU diode fix until I saw this, my 909 resets all the time and it is an absolute pain in the arse to set the MIDI channel and select the pattern again every time. I will have to have a go at fixing that over X mas. Thanks for the excellent demonstration.

  • Hi there, thanks for this brilliant tutorial. I have a question I wonder if you can help me with.... I just obtained a 909 serial number 448590 but the rom is version 1. Any ideas whats going on here?. Kind regards

  • valuable info! thanks a lot!

  • is this sample based or is the 909 like the 808 Analog based?

  • @bobywaz you're just rude

  • @phono1337 Perhaps you could help me out? Its not a big issue right now but the rocker switch on the back of my 909 (the on/off switch) is broke so the unit switches straight to on when plugged in and only turns off when unplugged. I don't like just unplugging it though it feels like im tempting memory corruption. Any advice on this?

  • @phono1337 yeah, i guess it would...! I'll say it again, your videos are a fantastic resource. I've owned my 101, 303, 606, 909 etc for a while now but your vids have shown me stuff I would have never have guessed at - pattern copying on the 303 for example.
