This movie actually came out in '91. And Cameron actually started the CGI revolution with the Abyss. It was pretty must tested there and worked. So he upgraded the effects for the T-1000. BTW, I do have the Ultimate Edition. It does kick ass. And I think the extra footage, just like Aliens and especially the Abyss are essential to really understand the plot better. I really did like the Special Edition of The Abyss so much better, when I understood what the aliens were going to do to humanity.

@Irakvrsor To this day that scene is still disturbing to me

My god, you're narrow minded.

I'd say the plot is just a complete revamp of the first terminator. You have the T800 playing the role of Reese and John in the role of the Sarah. You have Sarah's character who acts as an extra wheel to shake things up and there you have the T1000 who plays the villian. In terms of plot I'd say the first film was much much better because of the fact that there were so many subplots most notably Reese and Sarah's relationship. And the subplots involving Reese's mission unfolding.

I think this is the best of all the films!...1 thing I'd like to note is the personality of the Terminator himself, it's the best here because you see how it learns from John Connor, you see how it can learn human emotion when originally it was created for killing humans!
And in turn we have T1000, like the first film he's relentless but even more sinister and very calculating but I just wanted to make comparison between the 2 myself, anyway very good review!^^!

awesome news! i just red that Arnold and even Robert Patrick will be in terminator 5! :D
The most realistic depiction of nuclear bombing that has ever been put to film? What about the movie The Day After?
Irakvrsor 2 years ago
Haven't seen that film, bu at the time, the Nuclear Watchdog claimed it was the most realistic. That has probably changed now, considering the age of the film.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Look, STAY IN YOUR CULTURE RANGE, you hear me?
My Dad would never ever listen to Oasis, and I sure as hell would not listen to the Beatles, i think they suck.
My Mum would not listen to Robbie Williams, and I sure as hell wouldnt listen to Elvis, I think he sucks.
I sure as hell would not watch The Dirty Dozon, my parents would not watch The Usual Suspects.
See how our own and everyones culture and generaion lays into place?
Now stay the fuck away from films OUTSIDE your generation.

Finally, we get to the core of your argument. I can definitely see where you're coming from, but honestly, just because something belongs to another generation does not mean newer generations cant like it. I am a sci fi fan and as such, could not possibly respect myself if I DIDN'T like classics like T2, Alien, Predator or The Day The earth Stood Still. As they say, you must know where you came from, before you can forge a new path.

Dont review it. Watch it, but dont review it.
Only review stuff which is meant to be seen in the cinema big screen.
That is all.

Ok, comment noted and registered. I take you're point (seeing it in the cinema does change the experience), but I still am going to review older films, especially if they are culturally significant, or I just plain like them.
