  • So depressing what desperate people will put themselves through. The Jane Fonda film "They Shoot Horses Don't They?" showed it very well.

  • that's what I call hardcore

  • Imagine being second...

  • On the TV show 'Shattered' It said that the record was 215 Days... Wow

  • @fashionhistorylover They had 1 hour of break time for sleep, bathroom breaks, etc every 24 hours. They ate, shaved, brushed teeth, etc. at a high bar while the kept their feet moving. They would also have semi-concious naps while leaning on their partners.

  • @J900213 How was that possible. These people did not eat, sleep, or go to the restroom?

  • My great grandmother Maybelle Nelson (tho she was married 6 times and I dont know what her name was when she won) won a 6 month marathon. But I cant find anything anywhere on it or pictures. Family History lost. =(

  • What on earth was the prize for this?! lol

It'd have to be pretty serious.

  • weeks... the record is 22 weeks i think

  • Does anyone know how long it went on for???
