My biggest worry is the fact that the overwhelming majority of people still have this "Stockholm Syndrome" of sorts, and will continue to have it until the violation of their rights becomes personal. The sort of egoism that pervades Western thought means most people only care about their own rights; people who behave in a normative way will be the last to have their rights taken away, and by then the system may be too strong to destroy. I genuinely worry that people will find out too late.

there are far too many people that will sit quietly while others stand up and speak the truth, that will stand up against what is wrong. those that are sitting need to stand up use their voices and help shoulder the burden of what it true and right. no longer can you be on the sidelines, and expect others to do for you.

as the old saying goes, "you're part of the solution, or you're part of the problem."

be smart about how you speak up. as cveitch says, we're more useful outside a jail cell.

Do you realize since the invasion of Afghanistan, the percentage of world opium production has increased from 5% of world production to about 90% in 2011?
