that is pretty cool but the whole "design belongs to the university" thing bugged me a bit. when my university asked me to sign over my design I told them to fuck off.

Hi,
I am looking for good ADC modules for an ECG project. Any recommendation?

Shoebox-scope ftw! :D

Looks great, but what good is it if you cannot share the info with other people so they can build one too????????

Awsome scope, keep up the good work, dont listen to negative people......

I know u said the design belongs to the uni, but I really want to know how much a home made one costs. Is it possible for you to share that info? Don't need details, just final price tag would be enough.

It was ~1100PLN which is 333$ by the recent exchange rate. You could cut down cost if you didn't buy the FPGA(170PLN) and ARM(100PLN) chip ready on small PCBs and make all the PCBs at home. The LCD was ~150PLN.OpAmps for higher freq.are expensive too.
The important thing is:do you want to build an oscilloscope yourself.Aside all work you have to put in it,you don't get a device as reliable as commercial ones which have big budgets for dev.and are made by people with knowledge and experience
