Key Features being
- 11 hp aircooled single cylinder diesel engine
- 5/1 synchromesh transmission
- Oscillating front/rear chassis to maximise 4 wheel ground contact in uneven ground conditions
- Narrow track width 1000 mm (front) and 1170 mm (rear)
- Payload 600 kg
- Flotation tyres 29/12.50-12 giving a ground pressure of circa 10psi (0.7 bar)
- Max Forward speed = 19 kph
- Weight of machine = 750 kg

With its modular design it was possible to develop a versatile power unit which when combined with:-
a) Flat Body 1550 x 1250mm (manual tipping or hydraulic tipping)
b) Dump Body - 600 litres (Hi-Tipping pivot height -1150mm or Lo-Tipping pivot of 660mm)
c) Fertiliser Spreader 300 kg
d) Sprayer 600 litres usually supplied with 2 hand lances 50 metres each

  • @angelotrezza You are correct the video was taken when it was raining. This machine is designed to work in tropical condition very often on recently drained "peat" swamp in Borneo Island, where we receive more than 4000 mm of rainfall per year. The machine work 6 days per week, 52 weeks per year. Yes occasionally they do get bogged down in the mud but usually the team of workers with the Buffalo can push it out due to its flotation tyres and it is light weight, trust we answered your question.

  • Looks good on dry soil. I would love to see it on mud.
