I got lucky in that one of my closest friends here in bumfuck TN, is also a kmfdm fan, and industrial in general, I was a teen in st louis and got into DJ'ing industrial there, heard a song by kmfdm on college radio when i was 13, they played the entirety of symbols on the radio....Been addicted ever since.

@MrRyan1011 I grew up in a town of 24 and as far as I knew I was the only one who listened to industrial. KMFDM transcends that. Enjoy the music. They do it for us. And perhaps as a way to make ourselves pull our heads out of our collective posteriors.

<3 KMFDM. A computer and the internet in 1998 was the beginning of my love of "different" music. Different from what I was raised anyway (country and oldies... which I can still dig both sometimes.)

KMFDM is still one of my faves above everything else.
