@dlix I played this 2 years ago in my orchestra and we absolutely loved it. It was challenging enough at the time and it was a lot of fun to play. We never thought we would like this song but our teacher picked it. It's definitely different than the classics but that's what's great about songs like these. It's a nice change of pace. I wish I could play it again with a full orchestra. Until then, I'll live vicariously through videos like these.

I wonder what the opinions of the violinists is of this music and how it ranks with the classics.

My dad spoke with one of the violinists and he said that it is really fun to play these songs because it's different and more instrumments are involved. Don't remember more of the conversation
